Grant towards Hearing Aids
As Hearing Aid Audiologists, we are registered with the Department of Social and Family Affairs. The Department of Social and Family Affairs have a treatment benefit scheme which is available to eligible patients and dependent spouses who have full PRSI contribution cover. Details are available on their website www.welfare.ie.
If eligible, the Department will pay €1,000.00 for or towards a pair of hearing aids. The need for a patient to contribute towards the purchase of hearing aids has now been removed.

Health/Medical Expenses Tax Relief
You may also claim tax relief for prescribed medical appliances including Hearing Aids which is available to all taxpayers under the Med 1 scheme. Details are available on the Revenue website www.revenue.ie.

We offer lifetime aftercare service whereby we will see each client regularly to check ear condition, aid condition and also retest annually to ensure the hearing aid is working. Should you have any issues at any other time, we will happily see you in our clinic to resolve the problem for you.
